About

About me

Hi, my name is Noah. I am currently a computer engineering student at the University of California Santa Barbara. I consider my interests varied, though you can expect to find stories, essays, thoughts, and projects on Science, Engineering, Literature, Philosophy, Life, Music, and much much more. Please feel free to contact me if you want to collaborate, hire me, or simply say hi.

What this site is

Simply put, this site is a place for me to store anything I want to show the world or represent me. You can find a curation of my writings, projects, observations, and more. This is not strictly a professional portfolio, nor just a personal blog, but is more holistically a platform where I intend to post a lot of my work.

How to navigate the site

The website is designed to be easy to use. On the homepage you’ll find the New Posts, which list the newest contributions by date. The primary content of the site is found in the projects, writing, and notes sections. There is the connect section, listing my various links, the about section (where you currently are), and the index, which allows you to find specific articles by tag. Finally there is the archive, which lists every site page by order of date.

About the site itself

This website uses Jekyll, a static website generator, and a heavily modified version of the no-style-please theme. It’s hosted using github pages, and uses minimal css and no necessary javascript. Works on all browsers while maintaining a clean and definite style.

At some point I’ll writeup a verbose explanation behind the construction and philosophy of this site, as a lot has gone into it.
