Colophon - Noun. Statement inside of a book with information about the book itself.

Miscellany - Noun. A collection of writings by different authors. Or more generally, a collection of things.

Palimpset - Noun. A piece of text that has been continuously written and revised on the same physical substance, providing evidence of past texts and a rough history of revision.

Anodyne - Adjective. Relaxing, providing relief or getting rid of pain.

Anagnorisis - Noun. The moment in a story where the main character discovers or reveals his true identity or situation, or discovers the identity of another. An act of self recognition.

Peripeteia - Noun. A reversal of circumstances within a story.
